Each strip heater has its own individual maximum temperature it can conduct:

• Ceramic Strip Heaters: (450ºC )
• Finned Ceramic Strips: ( 450ºC )
• Incoloy 800 Strip Heaters: ( 750ºC )

Applications

Our incoloy, mica, finned & ceramic strip heaters are used for heat transfer by conduction or convection to heat liquids, gases and metal / steel surfaces. They are typically used for presses, extrusion die heads, food tables, hot plates, and special purpose machinery.

Design Options

	Mica Strip Heaters Our mica strip heaters are an economical designed heaters suitable for temperatures up to 300 degrees C. The mica strip heaters contains mica sheets with a nickel chrome resistance tape and a fabricated outer casing. It relies on a good surface to allow optimum heat transfer, available with or without location slots. Threaded terminals or glass fibre leads are an option. These mica strip heaters can be made to specific wattages & voltages your request.
	Ceramic Strip Heaters Our ceramic strip heaters are designed to withstand temperatures up to 450 degrees C. The ceramic strip heaters consists of a stainless steel sheath containing a high-temperature ceramic insulation and a nickel chrome wire coil.Magnesium Oxide is used to fill any air pockets, thus providing the best heat transfer possible. 	Incoloy 800 Strip Heaters The Sq section Incoloy 800 Strip heater is a good alternative to the Ceramic strip heater. It is designed to withstand temperatures up to 700 degs C. The heater consists of a Sq Section Incoloy 800 sheath which allows good heat transfer and contains a high-temperature Nickel Chrome wire coil. Magnesium Oxide is used between the element and casting as an insulation and also providing the best heat transfer possible. The terminal options are M4 Threaded terminals or leads fitted direct. 	Finned Ceramic Strip Heaters The Ceramic Finned Strip Heater has been designed to provide excellent heat transfer to air. Used mainly for applications where an airflow is present, such as Shrink Tunnels, Duct Heaters, Commercial Fan Ovens, Space Heating. Our Ceramic finned heaters are made to order to customer’s requirements. Wattages and voltages can be specified to suit your needs.
