Customisation & Materials

Depending on the specific application, our immersion heaters can be manufactured using a variety of sheath materials, including Incoloy, Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, and Titanium. These heaters are capable of operating at temperatures up to 650°C–700°C (1202°F–1292°F), making them suitable for demanding thermal environments.

Immersion Heaters Key Features

Precision-Wound Resistance Wire
Our nickel-chromium resistance coils are computer-designed and precisely wound to meet exact heat specifications. Each spiral is chemically cleaned to remove contaminants, enhancing the longevity of the heating element.

Secure Welded Connections
Terminal pins are connected to the resistance coil through welding or high-quality crimping, ensuring a durable electrical connection.

High-Performance Electrical Insulation
The resistor coil is centrally positioned and insulated with high-purity magnesium oxide (MgO) powder. After compaction by rolling or swaging, this insulation offers excellent thermal conductivity and superior dielectric strength.

Versatile Sheath Options
A range of sheath materials is available to suit specific application needs (refer to material selection chart). All immersion heaters are fully annealed to allow for custom forming and bending.

Moisture-Resistant Sealing
Each heater is sealed during production to protect against moisture absorption during storage. While this sealing resists humidity, it does not offer protection against liquid ingress or chemical exposure. Specialised sealing options are available – please contact our technical team for tailored solutions.

Insulated and Threaded Terminals
Ceramic insulators provide electrical isolation between the terminal stud and the heater sheath. Standard threaded studs allow for quick and secure connections, with a variety of termination options available upon request.

Most items are available for delivery in 4/5 or 2/3 working days. However, we do offer additional emergency services for customers who are in a breakdown situation.
